FIFA extended Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni's suspension worldwide, following an initial ban by UEFA. The Argentine player received a six-game ban, with three suspended, for discriminatory conduct. The incident occurred on February 17 during a Champions League playoff match against Real Madrid.

Fifa announced on Wednesday it had extended Gianluca Prestianni’s suspension worldwide after the Benfica winger was originally banned by European football’s governing body Uefa.
