The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has presented medals, plaques and trophies to the 10 Regional Football Associations (RFAs) to reward outstanding performers in the 2025-26 juvenile league season.The presentation ceremony was led by Regional Football Association Coordinator Michael Daasebre Adu Asare, who officially handed over the items to Greater Accra Football Association chairman Samuel Aboabire on behalf of the regional associations.The awards package, sponsored by the KGL Foundation, is aimed at recognising excellence and encouraging the growth of grassroots football across the country.In total, 720 medals have been distributed, with each region receiving 30 gold and 30 silver medals for winners and runners-up of the Regional Boys Colts Championships. The Girls Colts Championships in the Northern and Greater Accra Regions will also benefit from the initiative.The Football Association has additionally recognised individual excellence with 24 commemorative plaques for standout performers. Awards will be presented to the Best Player and Top Scorer in each of the ten Boys Colts Championships, as well as the Girls competitions.The initiative forms part of the Football Association’s broader commitment to strengthening youth football development and building a strong foundation for the future of Ghana football.
