Suspect! Kwadwo Richmond A 27-year-old man, Kwadwo Richmond, is currently on the run after allegedly killing his friend over a GH¢20 dispute at Asante Akyem Asuboah in the Ashanti Region.The deceased, identified only as Evis, reportedly had a misunderstanding with the suspect after he allegedly failed to fulfil a promise to give Richmond GH¢20.According to information available to DAILY GUIDE, the two met outside the community where the issue escalated into a heated confrontation.In the process, Richmond allegedly attacked Evis with a cutlass, inflicting fatal wounds on him.The victim was said to have collapsed at the scene in a pool of blood. Attempts by residents to save him proved futile, as he was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.Richmond reportedly fled after committing the act, and has since gone into hiding.The shocking incident has thrown the entire community into a state of fear and disbelief, with residents expressing concern over the increasing cases of violence over minor disputes.The body of the deceased has been deposited at a morgue for preservation and autopsy.Meanwhile, police sources say a manhunt has been launched to track down the suspect.
