President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has urged the Black Starlets to approach the upcoming U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with courage and belief as they prepare to represent Ghana in Morocco.Ghana will compete in Group D of the tournament later this month, where they will face Algeria, Senegal and South Africa.Speaking to the team before their departure, Okraku encouraged the players to embrace the occasion and fear no opponent, stressing the importance of writing a new chapter in Ghanaâs youth football history.âGo out there with courage, play with pride, and never be afraid of any opponent, he said."Ghana has a rich history in youth football, and it is your time to write the next chapter. Make the nation proud," Mr Okraku added.The Black Starlets will fine-tune their preparations with a warm-up friendly against Mali later today at 16:00 GMT as they step up readiness for the continental competition.
