Government Statistician tells govt to invest in food systems especially storage, irrigation and transport

Ghana's inflation rate rose to 3.4% in April 2026, up from 3.2% in March 2026, significantly lower than the 21.2% recorded in April 2025. In response, the Government Statistician advised the government to invest in food systems, specifically storage, irrigation, and transport infrastructure.
